_Hello and Welcome to Libertyology.com,

This website was spawned from the same spirit that drove the founders to declare their independence from the British Crown, the same rugged individualism that forged this nation and sent our fore fathers trudging out into the wilderness of the west. We here at Libertyology believe that sentiment has been lost on America not out of negligence, but out of a sense on contentment and comfort. We believe our nation, our people are at a crossroads of history. The founders of this website have embraced the ideals of Liberty and wish to further and protect the great experiment that is our Republic for future generations through education, debate, and information. We hope this humble website can be a refuge for you in a world dominated by corporate media more interested in ratings than the truth and integrity. We believe that the advice and warnings of our founding fathers and other great minds in history are going unheeded. This website is a digital representation of our human drive for understanding and perfection. We do not intend this website to be just another Ron Paul site. Although for the sake of full disclosure, we are avid supporters. The intent of this site is to foster the sentiment that has taken hold within the Republican Party and turn it into something useful, powerful, and lasting that can affect real change in our government at the national level.

Who I am..

I am a father, a husband, a brother, a son, and a soldier that wants to leave America better than the way I found her. I have had the honor to serve overseas on multiple tours. These experiences have shaped my world view for the better and helped me realize that the idea of liberty is to be safeguarded or it will be lost. I am drawn to the liberty movement both intellectually and in some ways spiritually. I believe in the power of the individual and I believe strongly in our Republic. It is important for me to note that I am a registered Republican and have been since I first registered to vote. However, I am a strict Constitutional Conservative first and foremost.

Disclaimer: My views are mine and mine alone. They do not represent views of the U.S. Government, Ron Paul’s Presidential Campaign, or anyone else on this planet.

For Liberty,

Welcome to Libertyology! This website was designed and created by lovers of Liberty. A long time friend of mine and I decided we needed to do something more. We felt, well at least I felt, that hours upon hours of researching liberty and discussing the concepts of true liberty with friends and family was not enough. I felt there was more to be done. A sense of duty burned inside of me, that the message needed to be spread to as many individuals as possible via the only place that anyone can voluntarily visit, and discern without being force fed an agenda or propaganda.

My background is in the military and background investigations. I must disclose that all views, statements, and opinions I express on this website or anywhere else are my own, and they do not reflect any representation of the Government (Federal or Local), Department of Defense, or any military branch of service. Good, now that that is out of the way, I can tell you our country has problems. As you and I have obviously been aware of unless you have been living in North Korea for the past 10 years, in which case I am deeply sorry for your loss, our great country is in shambles. Many opinions on the culpability of how we got here can be debated, however the fact remains here we are.

Thomas Sowell states so bluntly, "[We live] in a world where we can make our choices only among the alternatives actually available." So what are the alternatives? Debating on who is to blame for where we are? As if coming to the correct conclusion will magically teleport us out of our grim situation. History is important and should not be dismissed, but what should we take from history, should we add up the score and see who is right or wrong, or should we learn from mistakes so that the history we make now is better for those that will have to endure the consequences in the future. After all, don't we all wish we knew what we know now back in 2003 or 2007? Things may be different today. Or is the alternative, to choose which political party you belong to, fearing you're on the "right" side of the issue. This only perpetuates the tendencies of finding a scape goat to blame.

The only other alternative I see, notice I said "I", is to make a choice of ideas. Ideas are greatly under rated. An idea can surface and vanish in the blink of an eye. Or an idea, such as liberty, freedom, and equality, which can surface and prove persistent, can change the world.  How many ideas are being brought forth onto the "American Stage"? (I like to call it that because even Tim Tebow can be on that stage.) A lot. This website is a testament to an idea that is both new and old. An idea that has been forgotten and at times seems as if it is slowly fading away with each passing year. Of all the alternatives there are to choose from, I choose Liberty. I choose to stand behind this idea and those who support it, so that when I grow old and grey my children and grand-children have a history to learn from. I fear that if I do not make my stamp in history, then my idea of Liberty may as well vanish with the rest of them, and I am not going to let that happen.

While you are here please feel free to post in the forums, submit samples to be featured on this page, submit suggestions for videos and news articles, and comment on the content. Please above all respect each other and remember what the fight for Liberty is about.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
Ron Paul
